Art Education

The twins and I were looking at a book that had a picture of THE MONA LISA in it. As they do with everything else, one of them pointed to the picture and asked, "Whose that?"

I replied, "The Mona Lisa"

To which Dakotta declared, "She's grumpy" and quickly turned the page.

I'm thinking we may keep their art education to Little Einsteins for a bit longer.

I always thought the Mona Lisa looked grumpy too, but everyone talks about her smile. I just don't see it.

Every one is a critic!;)

I remember Aaron jumping on our bed when he was about 2 and he noticed our wall hanging with Monet's "Water lillies". He stopped jumping and asked me what it was. I explained about the painting and he kept looking at it and finally came to his own conclusion, "He made a mess!" Then, back to jumping.
